THE ANARCHISTS.
London, April 22. Farandi, a comrade of the man Polti, who was arrested with a bomb in his possession on Farriugdon Road, has also been taken into custody, and a quantity of explosives were found on him. Farandi is alleged to be the financial manager of a gang of Anarchists. Polti has made a full confession/of his connection with the Anarchists, and states that M. Farandi directed everything but kept in the background. He declared that the latter granted a pension to Anarchists if wounded, and provided counsel for them if arrested. April 23. Farandi has confessed that he intended to murder Inspector Melville, who is resposible for the tracking of the Anarchists, The Anarchist delegates at the Hague elected Farandi to control operations in England. He was associated with Bourden, who was killed near Greenwich, and with the Autonomic Club. Farandi has confessed that he intended to cause an explosion in the Stock Exchange in order to kill capitalists. Brussels, April 23. A bomb was found in the theatre at Liege. The fuse hud burned down within an inch of the charge, when a fireman extinguished it.
