THE ANARCHISTS.
Paris, Feb. 22,
Eight suppossed bombs were seized in Paris yesterday; fortunately no harm was done.
A bone containing explosives was found in the Comedie Francaise.
A woman who was injured by the explosion of a bomb in the Rue Jacques, has succumbed to her injuries.
Revol, the Anarchist who attempted to gain admission to the Chamber of Deputies, has been arrested. There is much excitement in Paris consequent on the activity of the Anarchists. Bombs have been found in the Palais Royal, Paris, and also the Poste Restante, Tunis. Feb. 23.
Many bombs have been found in the shape of hams. The Anarchists removed a quantity of dynamite and documents hidden in a dry moat at Fort Lahiche, St. Dennis, without the sentries detecting them. A bomb was discovered at the door of a church in South Paris.
Six Anarchists have been arrested on suspicion of being connected in the bomb explosion at the Bons Enf ants in Paris on November 9th, 1892. Henri is believed to have been concerned in it too. Gallon,. a Frenchman and leading Anarchist, a friend of Boardin, has been arrested in London at the instance of the French police. Feb. 24. Seventy-five Anarchists have been expelled from Nice. The Anarchist Henri has confessed to the authorship of the bomb outrages which killed six policemen in November, 1892. His trial begins on March Bth. London-, Feb. 22.
The London Anarchists threaten to blow up the mills and residences of three wealthy manufacturers at Blackburn to assert the rights of power of the poor. The police are adopting stringent measures to preveut outrages at the arsenals, dock yards, and barracks in Great Britain. Feb. 23.
The Home Secretary has forbidden the friends of Bourdin to give him a public funeral, or to make speeches at the grave. Feb. 24.
The funeral of the Anarchist Bourdin took place to-day. The hearse was wrecked, and the body would have been torn to pieces had it not been for the efforts of the police. In spite of the mandate of the authorities, the friends of the Anarchist Bourdin attempted to make a demonstration on the occasion of his funeral to-day. This was resented by a great crowd, which assembled in the cemetery and hooted, hustled, and spat on the mourners. The police at great hazard to themselves, protected the cortege from many ugly rushes of the mob, while the mounted police with great difficulty stemmed the crowds of people who endeavoured to crowd round the grave. The funeral procession was met with cries of "Down with Anarchy," " Keep in your own country," and " No bomb,business in England." The hearse was pelted with stones, mud, and garbage, especially by the women of the infuriated mob. Subsequently a band of students smashed the windows and doors of the Autonomic Club. At the cemetery the police seized a large number of Anarchist flags and banners. Vienna, Jan. 23. Great precautions are being taken to secure the Austrian Chamber against attempts by Anarchists. It is proposed to erect torpedo netting to prevent bombs being thrown through the windows from the outer courts. A system of signals has also been devised.

Two Anarchists have been sentenced to ten and eight years of rigorous prison duty. Copenhagen, Feb. 24. An Anarchist club has been discovered in this city.
