CRICKET.
The Cup match, Temuka v. Geraldine, was played at Temuka ou Thursday. There was a fair attendance of spectators. The ma*ch, as was anticipated, resulted in a win for the visitors, whose batting was all round good, although the wicket was somewhat bumpy. The local men showed marked improvement in fielding, Daun especially showing up well. The following are the scores :
