The ship Wellington, Captain Cowan, which put into Rio de Janeiro on July 24th, through collision with an iceberg, has been unable to complete her repairs owing to the bombardment. Her frozen t&eat showed signs of being unable to Stand the prolonged delay. Lloyd’s agents have, therefore, advised that the vessel be towed Home, but experts think that the meat will not arrive in a condition to warrant the expense of towing being incurred, owing to further delay which must occur before the vessel can arrive Borne.
