London, Jau. 27. The Speaker has appointed Lord Shaud to be chairman of the Miners’ Con* oiliatiou Boardi SydneV, Jan. 2f. Fourteen strikers have returned to work in the South Bulli Colliery. A deputation from the ranks of the strikers will wait on them and request them to discontinue work.
