CHRISTCHURCH STOCK MARKET. At the Addington Yards on Wednesday there was a fair entry of stock. Fat Cattle The supply consisted principally of cows and heifers of nice quality. Bidding wa3 brisk aud prices firm. Best bullocks, £8 2s to £9l7s 6d ; heifers, £6 5s to £7 12s 6d; beat oows, £6 10s to £7 17s 6d, medium from £4 10s, weaners and yearlings 18s to 58s, two-year-olds, £3 ss, to £4 15s, dry cows 50s to 80s ; springers and milkers, good, £7 to £8 10s ; secondary, £4 5s to £6. Fat Sheep—Best crossbred wethers, 13s 6d to 10s 3d ; secondary, lis to 13s; beat crossbred ewes, lis to 12s lOd; secondary, 93 to 10s 6d ; merino wethers best, 8s to 10s lOd ; secondary, 5s to 7b 6d ; ewes, good, 6b to Bs. Fat Lambs brought 10s to 14s 2d ; secondary and light from 6s. Store Sheep—ln Btore sheep two to four tooth crossbreds, sold at 10a 6d to 12s 8d ; two tooth crossbred, 9s to 12s ; crossbred lambs, 5s lOd to 6s Bd. Pigs—A very small entry sold at extreme rates. Baconers 35s to 49a; porkers, 20s to 31s; stores, 8s to 255. DUNEDIN PRODUCE MARKETS. The following is the report for the week ending Wednesday : Wheat —Prime tuscan, 2s 9d to 2slod; pearl, 2s BJd to 2s 9d; other aortß, 2s 7d to 2s 8d; good whole fowls 1 wheat is easily plaoed at 2s 6d to 2s 7d. Very little doing in milling qualities. Oats-*Limited quantity offering, but quite suffioient for requirements. Milling, Is 11 jd to 2s ; prime short feed, Is lid to 1b ll^d; other sorts, Is 9d to lslOJd. Potatoes—Kidneys have been in over supply, and many consignments have arrived in very bad condition. Peninsula grown, £5; Oaraaru, £4 to £4 5s (if freshly dug); other qualities from £3 to £3 15s. Chaff—Heavy well-cut oaten sheaf, 85s to 87s 6d ; other qualities from 50s to 70s. Pigs—Good quality, suitable sian, wanted at 3£d; all coming forward would find buyers. Cheese—Factory, large and medium, 4|d to 5d ; loaf, 5d to s£d ; Akaroa, large and medium, 4sd; loaf, 4fd. Salt Butter—Nominally, 7d ; oases, Is (no demand locally). Sheepskins are now fetching full value. At Auction on Tuesday, conntiy dry crossbreds, inferior to medium, brought, Is 8d to 3s; do merino, Is 6d to 2s 2d ; medium to full-wqolled crossbreds, 3s 6d to 4s 8d ; full-woolled do (heavy), 4s lOd to 5s 6d ; and an odd lot (very heavy) to 68 Cd; best full-woolled merinos, 3s 6d tiQ 4s 9d ; medium do, 2s 2d to 3» 4,j . butchers' crossbred pelts (best), Is 3d to Is sd; medium do, 8d to Is; green lambskins, lOd to Is 7d. '1 allow—Prices remain firm, and sales are readily made for all classes. Quotations : For best rendered Gd to 22s Od ; medium to good, IS3 Gd to 20s Gd ; iuferior to medium, 14s to 17s Rough fat: best mutton caul 14s t.j 14s Gd ■ medium to good 12s Gd to 13s 9d; inferior to medium. Fat Lambs —543 forward. Prime lots met with a fair demand, but medium quality lambs were difficult to place. Best brought 7s 6d to 10s, others 4s 6d to 7s. Piga—Only 57 forward. The demand was fair. Suckers brought 8s to 13b ; slips, 14s to 17s; stores, 20s to 235; baconers, 40s to 45s 6d.
