TIMARU WOOL SALES. The second wool sale of the season was held on Tuesday in the Assembly Rooms, before a large attendance of woolgrowers, the room being crowded. A couple of new buyers were in attendance, and competition throughout the day was very keen. Prices obtained were a shade better than those ruling at the first sale. The top price for the day, for halfbred wools, 9|d, was obtained by the Canterbury Farmers’ Co-operative Association, for a line of 27 bales of very light clean wool grown by Messrs Bruce Bros., of Bankfield, St. Andrews.
