An interesting comparison of returns from Ayrshire and Shorthorn cows hai just been furnished to the Woodvillo Examiner. A settler in the Pahiutua county has a herd of GO Ayrshire cows, which give 140 gal a day, at 101 b to the gallon. A Woodvillo settler has 05 Shorthorn cows, which yield 112 gal a day, at llib to the gallon. The Shorthorn is here the vector by a good deal,
