ITINERANT PHOTOGRAPHERS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Through the medium of your paper I should like to warn the public generally, and especially the teachers of our schools, against two men who are at present making a tour of the country districts taking photographs. They visited this district some time ago, and I am sorry to say, a goodly number of the residents were induced to part with their cash "in advance." In many cases a receipt was given wilhout any specified time of delivery, and although the photos, were promised verbally in three weeks' time, two inontha have now elapsed without any sign of their coming. Should this meet the eye of that "cannie" Frenchman, I trust he will pass my order in double quick time, or perhaps, ere long, something else may meet his eye. Thanking you, in anticipation, I am, etc., Robert Irwin. South Rangitata, December 22, 1893.
