MAIL NOTICES.

Subjeet to any necessary alterations, mails will close at the Temuka Post Office as under:—

The .next direct mail for the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe (specially addressed correspondence only) and South Africa, per Aorangi, will close at Wellington on December 21st. (This mail will be due in Lonkoh on February 2nd. 1894). The next English and European Mail via San Francisco will close at this Office on Wednesday, the 27th day of December, at 5 p.m. Money orders, registered letters, newspapers, and bookpackets at 1.55 p.m. Late fee letters (2£d extra) at mail van till departure of north express. (This mail will be due in London on 31st January). The next mail for Chatham Islands, per Kahu, will close at Lyttelton on Saturday 30th ; December, at 8 p.m.

Christmas and New Year Cards for transmission through the post must have the flap of the envelope turned in, or one end of the envelope left entirely open, otherwise the packet will be charged letter rate. Cards may have written on them complimentary or such like remarks, also the name and address of the sender, and the date of sending. P. P. White, Postmaster.
