BANK FAILURE.
Rome, Nov. 30. The Uredeto Tobilairo has asked for moratorium [delaying], and the announcement has created a sensation in this city. Dec. 1. During the run sixty million lire (£2,500,000) were withdrawn from the Uredeto Tobilaire; two-thirds of the assets are still intact. The Credeto Tobiliaro has suspended payment owing to the run on the bank. The liabilities in August amounted to 21,000,000 lire. Dec. 2. The morotorium asked for by the Crcdetos Tobiliare has been granted.
