Sheridan was detained in custody, as he was in possession of detonators, which he had attempted to explode in Tyrone Place. The police declare that Reid was connected witu former explosions in Dublin. In consequence of these discoveries the guard over the public buildings has been doubled. There is great excitement in Dublin. A man named John Mearns has been taken in custody on the charge of murdering Reid and it is expected that other arrests will shortly be made. Mearns left Dublin after the Exchange Court explosions, and only recently returned from America. Further discoveries of explosives are being made in Dublin. Nov. 29. The Dublin conspirators had a number of cartridges hid in the quays owing to domiciliary visits by the police.
