A BriAVis Blind Boy.—Aa act of extraordinary heroism by a blind Irish boy named Stewart was performed at Waterford on the 6th Sept. He was bathing vith other boys when a lad n-imed Myers was carried away by the current, and shouted for help. Guided by the cries, Stewart swam to his assistance, and with a great effort brought him ashore. The cry was raised that a boy named Biggins was drowning, and the blind hero again entered tbo water, but was unable to save the boy. The jury which held an inquest on the body, praised Stewart's bravery, and recommended it to the consideration of the Royal Humane Society.
