Paris, Nov. 19. The programme of M. Dupuy, the Premier, declares against Socialism and advocates individual liberty and freedom of labour. It promises social and sanitary reforms, and the establishment of a superannuation fund for working men. The programme was well received in the Chamber of Deputies. Melbourne, Nov. 23. A meeting of waterside workers enthusiastically carried a resolution that the time had arrived when all workers engaged in shipping should come into line, and that a union bo formed to be called the Associated Waterside Union of Australasia, and affiliated direct with the Australian Labor Federation. The strike of miners at Korumburra, re payment for x’aising slack, has collapsed.
