Out of the call, amounting to £153,000, which was made on the contributories in the Anglo-Australian Bank, only £620 has been paid The assets of the bank amount to £40,400 with which to meet debts amounting to £400,000. The Judge declined to make an order for a second call until information should bo forthcoming that there was reasonable hope of the levy being paid. He said that if he made an order in the present condition of things, it would only result in wasting in law courts what little assets there were.
