Melboubnb, Nov. 13. Saturday’s snort was much superior to that of the first day, the competitors showing great improvement in form. With the exception of Matson and O’Connor the New Zealand team could not be looked upon as possessing champion form. G. Cole’s high jump of sft 9|in establishes an Australasian record, and Matson, by his win in the 440 Yards Hurdles, put up a world’s record. The New Zealanders return on Saturday. _
