Holloway’s Pills and Ointment.— Rheumatism and Gout, —These purifying and soothing remedies deserve the earnest attention of all persons liable to gout, sciatica, or other painful affections of the muscles, nerves, or joints. The Ointment should be applied after the affected parts have been patiently fomented with warm water, when the Ointment should be diligently rubbed upon the adjacent skin, unless the friction causes pain. Holloway’s Pills should be simultaneously taken to diminish pain, reduce inflammation, and purify the blood. This treatment abates the violence, and lessens the frequency of gout, rheumatism, and all spasmodic diseases which spring from hereditary predisposition, of from any accidental weakness of constitution. The Ointment cheeks the local malady while the Pills restore vital power.
A RRIVAL OF THE NEW WATERIt is not oftaj| that the arrival of a shipment of goods in New Zealand waters is so generally welcomed as ths arrival of the present parcel of Waterbury watches. By the fire on the Ruahine <IO.OO Watp.hburys—gold, silver, and nickel—-were destroyed, and this interruption hi the regular inflow has keep the market bare till the landing of the present parcel. The Hon. Dr. Pollen stated in the Legislative Council thfjt QafiQO Adult Males. pays thd whole of this polony’s taxation, maintains its Service, runs its ! railways and public woT’^ s » nucleus of the colony’s prop.^dy; au< * yet to this very limited population o 7^ r 120,000 Waxbbburys have been sold and delivered, and the shipment now landing consists of 2880 Watjsrbuxivs, which is followed by the Elinor Yernou, due in a month with 2880 More, all sold already to the wholesale trade, who have been waiting supplies for from three to four months. Large as these figures are, two other shipments are to arrive before Christmas, and we venture to affirm that no other watch can show a sale in New Zealand during the period covered since the Waterbury advent of Oub to Bach Hundred Wateerueys. Jewellers and retail dealers will kindly send their orders to our agents as quickly as possible. WATERBURY WATCH CO. Bond and Oeawford Streets, Punepin.
