Auckland, August 24. Arrived —Matatua, s.s., from London via Teueriffe, after a heavy weather voyage of 61 days. Port Chalmers, July 25. Sailed—Eifeshire, Captain Cuthbert, for London. Passengers—Mr and Mrs J. E. Bardsley, Misses J. E. Wethey, K. Mumby, and Halcgck, Messrs J. N. IJdasson and L. D. Stoddart. Melbourne, August 23. Sailed yesterday Tarawera for the Bluff. Hobart, August 24. Arrived —Tainui, this afternoon at 4 o’clock. She sails at 6 o’clock to-morrow morning for Port Chalmers. She brings 47 passengers for Australia, and 94 for New Zealand ; all well. The delay in her arrival was caused by a broken cylinder case. London, August 22. Arrived Lochnagar, barque, from Wellington (May 10th) ; Lintrathen, barque, from Lyttelton (May 13th) ; Windsor Park, ship, from Lyttelton (April 15th) ; Glenlora, barque, from Timaru (May 28th); Sumatra, barque, from Kaipara (April 22nd).
