MiSLHOUKNE, August 15. The report of the Sweating Commission states that the evil is growing, but has attained nothing like the proportions oxistiug in England. The report recommonds legislation in regard to hours of labor, and a reduction of the duty on articles which cannot be produced here and are used as raw material by manufacturers.
Auckland Catholic Schools.—The Board of Education have again rejected Bishop Luck's application that the board's inspectors inspect the Roman Catholic schools, and informed him that no private schools are inspected by the board's inspectors.
