London, July 24. The Duke of Devonshire will move the rejection of the Home Rule Bill in the House of Lords. In the House of Commons, in Committee on the financial clauses of the Home Rule Bill, Mr Chamberlain said that owing to Irish patriotism being a sickly plant which required watering with British gold, Mr Gladstone had fixed her contribution under her taxable capacity. It is reported that the Government intends to push on with the Newcastle programme next year, and then introduce the Home Rule Bill in the House of Lords, dissolving Parliament if it is is rejected. Mr Wilson Lloyd, Conservative member for Weduesbury, has resigned.
