July 8 Omapere, s.s., 352 tons, Phillips, for the north. July 9—Bass Rock, barque, for London. IMPORTS. In the Omapere, N.M. and A. Co., agents : 80 tons miscellaneous cargo. Among the consignees were—Dunlop, Siegert, Priest & Hoidgate, Beckingham, T. & J. Thomson, Harrison, C.F.A., Philp, Dr Hayes, Blyth, Grant, Warbartou, Miles & Co., and Eeid & Gray. Auckland, July 7. Arrived, at 10.30 a.m.—Coptic, s.s., from London, May 18th. At 1.40 a.m. on June 16th a fire was discovered in the drying room. The outbreak was quickly subdued, 1 and the only damage sustained was the destruction of some dirty linen and the contents of the steward’s locker. Otherwise the voyage was uneventful. Wellington, July 7. Arrived —Wakatipu, s.s., at 7.30, from Sydney. She has 27 saloon and 72 steerage passengers, Sydney, July 7. Sailed—Wairarapa, for Auckland. Newcastle, July 7. Arrived—Poherua, from Wellington. Hobart, July 9. Arrived—Rimutaka, from London, at 11 o’clock this morning. She sails at 3 o’clock to-morrow afternoon for Port Chalmers.' The Rimutaka brings 23 passengers for Australia, and 123 for New Zealand. Albany, July 7. Arrived—Oroya, from Plymouth. Sir Matthew Davies is a passenger by her from Colombo.
