Some 14 months ago the bankrupt was committed by Mr Justicee Ward for contempt in refusing to answer questions as to where a wagon and a team of horses belonging to him had gone to, and also what had become of a sum of £3OO odd. On Monday afternoon the bankrupt was brought before the court, but would not answer any of the questions put to him. and he was again committed to gaol. Judge Robinson, at the request of bankrupt’s counsel, undertook to communicate with Mr Justme Ward, so that the matter might be brought under the notice of the Minister of Justice.
