ELECTRICITY V. LUXENE. In a contest between these two illuminanis, it is questionable which would come out on top. Luswno is pure white, odourless and smokoh ss. So is electricity, but the hitter requires expensive pencriitiog machinery, and is a fixture. Luxene is portable, ready for use at all times, and with a clear lamp (lives the perfection of artificial light. It is well known that some of the most disastrous fives in recent years have been directly caused by the use of common kerosene. Luxene ia safe brilliant, and gives a soft pleasant light. Only 2d. per gallon ever ordinary kerosene. Strongly cased. Patent nozzles.
