Asking- too Much —At a meeting of the Board of Governors of the Canterbury College, the recomtnendafon of the college committee that the co-operation of the board be given to t'o authorities of the Wellington College and the Girls’ High School in the endeavor to obtain an amendment of the Municipal Corporations Act in the direction of exempting secondary schools from taxati-.n, was rejected. Higher Education is already receiving too much public money.
