Preservation or Native Birds, etc. —Lord Onslow has forwarded to Mr Henry Wright, of Wellington, a resolution passed by the Zoological Society, of London, expressing their satisfaction at the steps taken by the Government to secure Little Barrier Island for the preservation of native birds and plants, and for acclimatisation purposes.
