The Tarawera sailed to-day on the first Sounds excursion, with 110 passengers, nearly all tourists. Only 24 of those on board are from New Zealand. Sydney, January 18. Arrived—Wakatipu from Wellington ; Ganymede from Timaru. January 19. Arrived —Waihora. Rio de Janeiro, January 19. The Kaikoura left yesterday for Teneriffe and Plymouth.
