The Miowera made a record passage between Sydney and Auckland, the time being 3 days 10 hours 52 minutes, beating the Mararoa’s previous record by 1 hour 8 minutes. The German warship Buzzard arrived from Samoa this morning. Bluff, January 17. Arrived—Mararoa, from Melbourne, at 6.15 p.m. She left the Queen’s wharf at 12.50 p.m. on the 13th. Albany, January 16.
