London, Jan. 18. The Labor Conference, at Bradford, passed a resolution in favor of a legal eight hours; emphasised the international character of labor ; and sent a greeting to all the proletariat world. The new labor party demands the abolition of monarchy. Mr Mundella, President of the Board of Trade, declines to create a Labor Bureau.
The Daily News considers that the labor party are really Socialists. The Shipping Federation are reducing wages, but the sailor are resisting. Berlin, Jan. 16.
The masters have dismissed a thousand miners who struck at Saarbruck, and had the leaders arrested.
Herr von Boetticher, Secretary of State for the Interior, speaking in the Reichstag, ridiculed the alleged distress in Germany and refused State aid, on the ground that exports and wages are increasing.
