London, Jan. 7. Meetings of the unemployed have been held on Tower Hill and at Oldham. At the latter place the speeches were of a violent character. The speakers declared that Canon Holland, of St. Paul’s, had mocked the men by inviting them to place their hope in J esus, when he well knew it was useless. Samuels, the Anarchist, advised the men to commit thefts at the cook-shops or to murder if necessary, saying that he preferred a prison to starvation, Mr Lord, Conservative, and Mr Collins Labour representative, have been nominated for the Liverpool seat.
