The twenty-seventh annual show of the Timaru Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held on Tuesday and Wednasday on the Association's Grounds, Wai-iti Road. A w w +- judges and others who had business to transact. Yesterday was " the people's " day, and, as usual, the was glorious. The entries were not quite bo numerous as last year, but the exhibits wore very creditable, and the show proved n. great success. The attendance was large. The principal booths were under tho control of Messrs M. Scannell, Rothwcll, and McLelland, and apparently all did a good business. We append the prize list, reserving further remarks until our next issue : SHEEP. The sum of 20s and 10s was given as first and second prizes respectively in every class. The association gave a prize of £2 for the best rain of any age in Merino, Leicester, and Lincoln classes. The judges commended the third-best exhibit if thought worthy. Mhuino (A) —Fino Combing.
