Tho Temuka Club played their opening match on Thursday afternoon. Sides wore picked by Mr Button and Mr Dana. Only a few of tho members had been able to got any practice, therefore nothing extra in the way of batting or fielding was done Hayhurst took most wickets for the former side, and Cayley for the latter; McLean and Low, witli 17 runs each, being the only batsmen to get into double figures.
