GERALDINE HORSE PARADE
The annual Geraldine horse parade waß held yesterday, when, notwithstanding the unfavourable state of the weather, there was a good attendance of farmers and others. The following is a description of the horses present : Austin & Davidson's Clydesdale stallion " Craigievar" was in the pink of condition, and appeared to great advantage, notwithstanding unfavorable weather. Mr J. Fraser's "Young Emperor." This is a well bred horse on both sides, and Will UO doubt leave some very serviceable stock in this district. Mr A. Toomey's Clydesdale stallion "Banker." This horse has developed wonderfully andhasplenty of good action. He should make his mark in the show ring. Mr W. Deßenzy's "Arbiter" by " Betrayer " out of " Nancy " is a worthy representative of his sire and dam and shows fine form and action. Mr Henry Scott's " Hunnington " was olso shown in healthy condition. Very little need be said of him, as the quality of his stock speaks louder than words. Mr P. Burke's thoroughbred " Hanlan " was as usual in first-class condition, and many will regret to know that he will this season be removed from this district to Waimate.
Mr Henry Wright's " by "Blackwood Abdalla" out _af "Dnko," is a greatly improved horse since his last appearance on parade. His action as a trqttor was very much admired. " Transit Boyal" has all the qualities of a good trotter.
