The cleric was instructed to notify the licensee of the Temuka Hotel that the committee were of opinion that ho had committed a broach of faith in not carrying out the repairs to fences in a substantial manner as promised, and in not having the premises painted as it waa stated at a previous meeting was about to be done. Non-compliance with the promise would militate against the granting of a license later on. The temporary transfer of the license of the Royal Hotel from M. McAtoer to M. Mulhearn was confirmed, and the committee desired that the licensee be informed of their approval of the way in which the repairs and renovation of the hotel had been carried out. The meeting then adjourned.
