Art the T> media Steeplechases yesterday, the M anion Hunters’ Steeplechase wr-i won bv Smuggler, with Rebel second; dividend I’l 7s. Tim Kensington Handicap was won by Dilemma, with Galteo sec;uiJ ; dividends £2 Ssaud £3 3s. The Taily-ho Steeplechase was won by Trimolito ; Shorts Handicap by Conjurer, and Threo Milo Trot by Informer.
At the coufovoueo of Metropolitan Jockey Clubs at Wellington on Thursday night, the following resolution was adopted :—• « The totalisap >r shall not be used ou any racecourse within a radius of 20 miles of any Metropolitan racecourse by any club that has a race of less valuo th.au 20 sovs. ou the programme.
