A petition, signed by Mr Geo. It was suggested that whoever had charge of the petition might have had verbal authority to sign on behalf of certain residents. After consideration, Mr Oldfield moved that the committee adhere to the resolution previously passed upon the subject,” . Mr Levens seconded the motion, winch was carried, Mr Surridge dissenting. visitor’s report. Mr Salmond stated that Mr Levens had been unable to join him on the occasion. of his visit to the school.
