IMPERIAL POLITICS.
London, July 27. The Pall Mall Gazette asserts that the postponment of autonomy for Ireland will be an act of treachery which the Irish members will swiftly and rightly punish. Sir W. V. llarcourt is conferring with the Labour leaders. The Conservatives have sent round an urgent whip to all members of their partv. July 28. A Scottish Labor Party is being formed to support Mr Gladstone. Mr Gladstone is in London consulting with Mr Morley and Sir William llarcourt. The Times contends that it is impossible for Mr Gladstone to devise a policy that will enable him to retain his majority. Mr W. Redmond says that the National League demandsfairplay from Mr Gladstone. Mr Davitt says that the Labor Federal ion is waiting for the new Ministry to be formed. He expects that the Liberals will form an alliance with the Labor Party and that Socialism will be the key to victory.
