Barley—Few samples offering and a dull market; prime malting 3s to 3s 3d, inferior and feed (nominal) 2s. Potatoes —The market is stagnant and few lots are changing hands, the bulk being shipped to Sydney on growers’ account; present value about 25s f.0.b., sacks in. Ryegrass—Farmers’ samples are pow being offered, and several lots are changing hands at from 2s 3d to 2s 9d for undressed samples, REVENUE RETURNS. Sydney, July 1. July 2, The National Bank of New Zealand declare a dividend of 2s Gd per share for the year and carry forward the sum of £OBOO, A cargo of Victorian wheat has been sold at 33s 4d. At the wool sales prices are unchanged. There is good competition and a hopeful feeling is prevalent.
