FOOTBALL.

A match between Temnka and Union (Timarn) second took place in Temnka on Thursday, and resulted in a win for Temnka by 4 points (two tries) to 2 (one try). The scores were made by Low and McLeod for Temnka and Straohau for the Union. A match took place on Thursday afternoon at the Point between teams representing the first fifteens of the Colonials (Tiraaru) and Pleasant Point Clubs, and resulted in a win for the Point by 0 points to 5. A match will be played in the Temnka Park to-day between the Temnka Second Fifteen and Timarn High School. Play will commence at 3 o'clock.
