A Difficult Case.— The surgeons of the University Hospital at Philadelphia have a curious case on their hands just now. A Hindoo, born 20 years ago in the village of Oovou, in Oudh, is anxious to be relieved from the twin sister who, from his birth, has been most closely attached to him in the most literal sense of the term. By a strange freak of nature Laloo Rampassad Bhikaree was born with his twin sister growing from his breastbone. To all appearance she seemed to be plunged head first into her brother’s body, for dangling from his chest was to be seen the body and four limbs of a baby girl. To-day Laloo is a tall well-proportioned young man, healthy and intelligent, and his abnormally decapitated sister is a human living body nearly half his size, fed by his mouth and living on his tissue.
