Maize—2s 8d to 2s 9d. Barley—Cape, 3s Id; English, nominal, 3s 6d. Peas—Blue Prussian, 3s 6d. Bran, lid. Pollard, lOd. Potatoes— Circular Heads, £3 15s; New Zealand, £3 to £3 ss. Onions, 4s. Butter, dairy make, lOd; factory. Is. Cheese, 4d to sd. Bacon, 6d to 7d. Hams, New Zealand, lOd to lid. Melbourne, April 13. There is but little doing in the wheat market. Fair average milling is quoted at 4s. Flour, stone makes, £9 ss; roller brands, £9 7s 6d to £lO. Oats, Algerian, Is lOd to 2s. Adelaide, April 13. The Sydney municipal loan of a qnarter of a million, at 4 per «ent., with a minimum of 99, has been over subscribed. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 3.180.000 quarters, and |for the Continent 1.408.000 quarters. The English wheat market shows a general advance of 6d per quarter. The Continental market is steady, and the American inclined to be buoyancy. New Zealand Shipping Company’s shares are quoted at £3; Shaw, Saville and Albion Company’s, £B.
