LABOUR.
London, March 6. A ballot is being taken among the Durham miners on the question of the 5 per cent, reduction in wages, and the general opinion is that the proposal will be accepted. The coal porters in Leeds express sympathy with the miners, and have promised not to unload any foreign coal which may be imported.
