MOUNT PEEL ROAD BOARD ELECTION.
TO THE EDITOR. Sib, —I shall esteem it a favor if you will answer the following questions for the benefit of those dix-ectly interested in the election and the ratepayers : —l. Is there any difference between an ordinary and an extraordinary election, and what is the difference '! 2. Do you know the sections in the Act referring to the notices to be given, and the time allowed for each vacancy '? if so please insert. 3. Do you know any Act that over rides the Regulation of Local Election Act 1876, and its amendment as regards the election of members of a road board ? 4. If the Mount Peel Road Board election was conducted in the ordinary way for an extraordinary election, what is the meaning of Section 46 of the above-quoted Act? —I have, etc., Ratepayer. [We have not time to hunt up answers to such questions as these. Consult a lawyer.—Ed.]
