The influenza is raging in Paris and 300 deathg recorded weekly, and in Vienna the mortality is even greater, reaching 5,00 per week,
The Standard urges the appoint' mont of a Ifoyal Commission to inquire into the causes of influenza. At Capetown the disease is of a virulent type, and in Paris deaths have increased by 800 weekly. The influenza is increasing in severity in Eqg]a,pc^ Sir Sktoyrs Yine, is suffering from a severe attack of influenza, and his condition is regarded as critical, Y uv\na, Jan. 22, r Jphe Archduke Ferdinand is suffering from influenza.
