Primitive Methodist Conference.— At the Pimitive Methodist Conference/ Christchurch, on Wednesday, the report of the children’s equalisation fund was presented. It showed receipts £477 12s TOd, expenditure £304 17s 6d, leaving a balance of £172 15s 4d. It was decided to send a letter to the English Conference asking for two ministers to be sent to New Zealand. The following officers were elected : District secretary, D. Goldie ; district treasurer, J. Taylor ; book steward, Rev. C. E. Ward ; children and contingent fund J. Watkinson; N.
