To refer to minutes of Town Board’s meeting of 4th February, 1885, and decide whether the Park Board is liable for rent for the use of Town Board office, in which meetings of the former have been held since that date.

It was resolved —“ That the asphalting applied for by Messrs Whitehead & Son in High street be carried out on conditions offered.” “That fence-between the premises of Town Board and Fire Brigade bo erected as suggested by Captain Henry and explained' by the overseer.”

The minutes of the meeting held on the 4th February, 1885, having been carefully read and considered, the clerk was instructed to forward copy of those referring to letting of Town Board office to Park and Cemetery Boards to the chairman of same, explaining why unpaid rent from the former had been claimed.

After perusing the specifications and inspecting work as carried out, it was unanimously agreed that the work was far from complete, and the overseer was instructed to have same finished in accordance with the specifications. This completed the business, and the meeting terminated.
