PORT OF TIMARU. ARRIVED. Jan. 12—Invercargill, s.s., 175 tons Hansen, from the south. Dec. 12 Brunner, s.s., 340 tons, Waller, from the north. SAILED. Jan. 13 Brunner, s.s., 340 tons, Waller, for Dunedin. Sydney, Jan. 11. Arrived—Wakatipu, from Wellington. Newcastle, Jan. 11. Sailed on Saturday—S.S, Poherua, for Wellington. London, Jan. 8. The R.M.S. .Kaikoura sailed from Plymouth to-day for Port Ohalmers. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s new steamer, Ruahine, is loading for Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney, and is announced to sail on the 20th inst. The Duke of Sutherland is to load for Port Chalmers and northern ports. Jan. 11. The R.M.S. Tongariro arrived at Plymouth yesterday, with her frozen meat reported to be in good condition. Tenbriffe, Jan. 11. The steamer Tekoa arrived to-day from Wellington.
