RANGITATA STATION SCHOOL.

The annual treat in connection with this school was held on Wednesday, December 30th, and afforded a capital day’s enjoyment for both the children, and the parents. During the afternoonWi races were indulged in by the children/ and a splendid assortment of toys were v distributed to the winners, the distribution being so worked that each child received a toy of some sort. After the races were concluded young and old - joined together in games, cricket, , rounders, and tv,ms-and-threes being well patronised. At 5 o’clock all sat down to a table well stocked with good things, to j which ample justice was done—out-door games are a good tonic for the youthful ’ appetite.
