Talisman by Traducer (imported), from Azucena by Tawton (imp.), out of Meg Merrilies, by St. George, out of Gipsy. Nancy is a thoroughbred mare, bred by the Hon. Wm. Eobinson, by Diomedes, (imp.). Hunnington was bred by W. Deßenzy, Esq , Hunnington, Winchester. He is the winner of first prizes at Timaru and Christchurch A. and P. Shows ; he has proved himself to be a sure foal getter, and as a sire for getting upstanding hunters, carriage horses, and Indian remounts he has no equal in the colony.
