Lubeck, which arrived today from Samoa, reports that no tidings have been heard of the German schooner Uve, which left Samoa on July 25th for Guirbs, and she is believed to have been lost. It is now definitelyknown that the Rev. Father Didler, thF.Catholicjmissionary, is not on board the missing vessel. ; Oct, 22. Information has been received from Apia that the Samoan Government have issued a proclamation declaring Mataafa’s party; rebels, and confiscating their property. The rebels meet shortly to discuss the situation. Much dissatisfaction is expressed in Samoa at the protracted absence of Mr Justice Cederkrantz in Australia, owing to the great amount of work accumulated in the Supreme Court.
