CUSTOMS AND GOLD RETURNS.

Wellington, Oct. 22. The Customs revenue collected in the colony for the quarter ended 30th September, was £436,960. Auckland condriMxted £103,612, Wellington £89,858, Lyttelton £68,454, Dunedin £100,984. For corresponding quarter of 1890 the amount was £402,114, which included £15,071 primage duty. The quantity and value of gold entered from the colony during the quarter ended 30th September, was as follows :—Auckland 76890 z, valued at £30,856; Marlborough 50380 z, valued at £20,146 ; Nelson 16720 z, valued at £5896; West Coast 25,7040 z, valued at £102,777; 22,8600 z, valued at £82,417 ; Undcnowrrl3oz, £57. Total 62,8760 z, valued at £252,242.
